ABOUT US
A small clinic started at Edarikkode in 1923 by Poozhikkal Kunjahammed Musliyar who was a well known physician in Edarikkode and surrounding villages. He was not only a physician but also a social worker who started 4 primary schools. After his demise his sons Dr. Poozhikkal Ibrahim Haji and Dr. Poozhikkal Hussain took the charges respectively. Both of them worked as Medical Officer in Government service.
After the demise of Dr. P Hussain, his son, Dr. Sirajudheen Poozhikkal took the charge as Medical Director of the institution. Dr. P Sirajudheen has worked in Arya Vaidya Sala for 15 years and resigned as Senior physician and Asst. Factory Manager. He started two more clinics at Klari South and at Iringavoor. The I.P facilities in all these centers were united by him under an umbrella and named as Dr. P Hussain’s PKMM Ayurveda Hospital in Malappuram. In the running time a small manufacturing unit to cater the needs of the patients is also started by him at Edarikkode.
